Blake Harrison's paintings evoke a mystical response to Florida's land, water and sky with their lush, vibrant colors. A lifelong painter and current professor of Art at Santa Fe Community College, the academic focus of his work is inspired by the 19th century Luminism movement and 17th century Dutch and Flemish landscapes. Blake's studio is in Micanopy, nestled in the scrub and pines. He draws inspiration from Paynes Prairie, local waterways and his own inimitable vision. |
